Sketches were made by combining details and silhouettes from existing garments.
In this rough sketch, I’ve combined the Ferragamo trench top with My Best Friends shorts. Imagine this playsuit in a grey gabardine fabric mixed with a thick matching grey jersey fleece for the inner shorts layer (1) and for the elbow patches (2), and for the first layer of the bodice (3) that is exposed when the flap layer is hanging down.
Now, there isn’t any design development here, but it’s my first sketch so as more progress is made, I hope a modern 80’s aesthetic will emerge.

This halter neck swimsuit is structured and appears to be in a cotton twill fabric. Combined with Chloe wool and cotton mix trousers, I think this could be an amazing set. I should have included the styling of the belt in the sketch. I would be happy to source grey wool to go with the grey gabardine and keep the material layout the same with wool for the front panels and gabardine on the back panels. I added boning to the bodice, in reference to the Fendi leather corset top.

I adore this Lacoste trench coat. Double breasted doesn’t tend to suit me, so I thought about making into a cropped jacket and added the Schiaparelli waistband belt to it. The neck funnel could be a separate crop top, or sewn into the jacket. I am thinking about adding culottes, dungarees or jumpsuit to create a set with this piece.
